In 1972, I attended a photography workshop given by the late Fred Picker. From that time on, my life changed dramatically and photography became my passion. I have attended many photography workshops over the years including those given by Ansel Adams, John Sexton, George Lepp, Michael Reichman, John Paul Caponigro, Jeff Schewe, Steve Johnson and Seth Resnick. In 2000, I retired from my Radiology practice and was able to travel and devote more time and attention to photography.
In 2001, I became fascinated by the technique and capabilities of digital photography. I was able to work with a new sense of freedom because of this new technology. Because of digital photography, I could concentrate more on capturing the perfect, powerful and beautiful image in the perfect light.
